Resolved Question: A question of speed: how many days...?

Okay, I'm attempting to write a book, but I need help and as math has NEVER been my forte, I need to know: taking into the average speed of an adult male, how many days would it take for him to walk 1135.28 miles ( the distance from Atlanta to Odessa, TX)? And then, how many days would it take for him to walk 1086.35 miles (the distance from Los Angeles to Odess, TX)? Please don't comment on my stupidity in math; I already admit that I suck at it.
